Search terms
A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. This site does not store those search terms itself. The provider's policy governs its handling.
Messages
A message or email is retained as needed to answer it. It is not shared outside the organization unless required by law.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal web operations may record an IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, pages viewed, time spent, referring page, and timestamps. Cookies help measure use and support site functions. Browser controls can block cookies, although some features may then work differently.
How Data Is Used
Data may be used to operate and secure the site, route a query to a search partner, understand which pages are useful, diagnose faults, and present advertising that may reflect visitor interests. Personal information is not sold.
Outside Services and Sharing
Links lead to sheriff, jail, court, correction, government, and third-party search services. Their policies apply after a visitor leaves. Search partners receive submitted queries; analytics providers receive usage measures; advertising networks may receive ad-related data; and authorities may receive information under a valid legal order. Some advertising providers may track activity across sites on their own systems.
Security and Younger Users
Reasonable security practices are used, but no internet system can be guaranteed breach-proof. The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may use the Contact Us page to request deletion of information submitted by a minor.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, a person may ask for a copy of personal data held by the site, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. This notice may be updated, and revised terms take effect when posted with a new effective date.
